A 17-year-old girl was stabbed to death outside a Queens subway station Wednesday night, becoming the latest fatality in a series of violent fights that have been taking place in the residential New York City borough.

The teen was stabbed in the neck around 9:30 p.m. on Queens Boulevard, a few meters from the 46th Street station in Sunnyside, the NYPD reported.

The victim, who was not identified, was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Apparently, the young woman was stabbed by another teenager in a dispute. The alleged aggressor was placed under police surveillance.

This fight is the most recent in a series of attacks between teenagers that have claimed three lives in the last week.

This Tuesday, a fight between teenagers left Mahki Brown, a 16-year-old basketball player, shot in the head and killed in SoHo.

The events occurred around 2:30 p.m. in a pedestrian walkway connecting Spring Street and Dominick Street. A pair of young men who were allegedly riding bicycles shot at Brown, fatally wounding him in the head.

Also, last Thursday, another dispute between young people left a 17-year-old teenager dead after being stabbed outside a building in the Bronx.

The incident took place outside 1105 Boynton Avenue in the Soundview area. Apparently, an unidentified 15-year-old girl pulled out a knife and began stabbing Emery Mizell, who ended up losing a lot of blood.

Other fights or attacks between teenagers have left several injured.
