The homeless man who was released without bail after allegedly attacking a New York City subway rider with a bag of his own poop was finally put behind bars after his most recent arrest on Saturday.

Frank Abrokwa, 37, was arrested for a violent incident at a storage facility on Friday where he allegedly barged into an office, threatened a worker, and shattered a glass window with a dumbbell, reported the New York Post, citing the criminal complaint.

“I want my refund. I’m leaving Monday, that is why I broke the glass,” he allegedly said as the staffer cleaned up the broken glass.

He returned the next day where he again threatened the worker. The complaint stated he said something like, “If I don’t get my refund by Monday, I’m gonna come back here and catch a felony,”

The judge set Abrokwa’s bail at $5,000 on charges of criminal mischief and harassment on Monday and ordered a psychiatric evaluation.

Abrokwa had been arrested at least 20 times since 1999, including for a Feb. 21 incident where he allegedly attacked a woman sitting at a Bronx subway station with a bag of his feces. Video of the incident shows the suspect shove the disgusting bag into the victim’s face multiple times before rubbing it on the back of her head.

The homeless man was arrested at a shelter after being identified but ultimately freed without bail because the charges against him were not bail-eligible under New York’s 2019 bail reforms. He was immediately rearrested for a separate antisemitic hate crime charge, but again released for the same reason.

The poop attacker’s release was blasted by NYC mayor Eric Adams, who said it “shows the scope of changes that we need to make in order to keep New Yorkers safe.”

Abrokwa reportedly bragged about being freed without bail on Facebook.

The New York Post reports he is currently being held on Riker’s Island and is due back in court on Apr. 11.
