Less than a month after McDonald’s launched its adult Happy Meal, the toys that came with the nostalgic box are selling for thousands of dollars online.

In collaboration with streetwear brand Cactus Plant Flea Market, McDonald’s launched a limited-edition Happy Meal for adults to provoke feelings of “nostalgia” among its customers earlier this month. Inside the nostalgic box, customers could find a Big Mar or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, french fries, a drink, and a toy.

The toys that came with the adult Happy Meal will be redesigned figurines of the classic McDonald's characters, including Grimace, Hamburglar, and Birdie, as well as a new character called “Cactus Buddy.”

"We're taking one of the most nostalgic McDonald's experiences and literally repackaging it in a new way that's hyper-relevant for our adult fans," said Tariq Hassan, McDonald's USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, at the time.

It didn’t take long before the fast food company's stock of toys ran out.

Now, those lucky enough to have gotten one of the limited-edition toys are reselling them online at an inflated price.

One such customer is listing one of the toys on the fashion marketplace Grailed for $39,999. Another seller is asking for $25,000 on eBay for an unopened adult Happy Meal toy.

One bold seller is looking to sell three unwrapped toys—Grimace, the Hamburgular, and Birdie—for $300,000 on eBay.

McDonald’s has not said whether it will bring back more adult Happy Meals yet, but there seems to be more than enough demand for the toys.
