Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is making amends.

While visiting his home state of Hawaii over the weekend, the actor took a trip down memory lane to visit a 7-Eleven and purchased the store's entire stock of Snickers chocolate bars.

He documented his adventure and posted a video on Instagram where he explains that he often frequented the same 7-Eleven when he was around 14 years old.

The now 50-year-old actor admitted that he stole a chocolate bar every day on his way to the gym as a teenager because he didn't have the funds to buy one.

Now, 36 years later, Johnson says he's making amends by buying the Snickers bars that he used to slip into his pockets.

"I was broke as hell," he recalled. "The same clerk was there every day and always turned his head and never arrested me."

Although the professional wrestler-turned-successful actor eventually found great success in his career, he confessed that his past actions never stopped weighing on his mind. He wrote on Instagram that he "had to 'right the wrong' in his home in Hawaii after all these years."

"Thank you very much. I appreciate you," he said to the clerk, as he put the chocolate bars behind him. "If it looks like someone is stealing Snickers, give them these so they don't steal them."

In addition to emptying the shelves of the chocolate peanut brittle candy, the "Jumanji" star also paid for the items of other customers who were in line. Johnson said paying the bill was "the least I could do considering all the crap I used to steal here."
He also posed for several selfies with locals and shook hands with convenience store employees.

"I've worked out some big demons over the years (I still have a few left) so I know this one looks REALLY DUMB, but every time I go home to Hawaii and drive by 7-11..." explained Dwayne in his caption. "I always knew I had to go in and clean all the Snickers bars they had, the right way."

"We can't change the past and some of the silly things we might have done, but every now and then we can add a little redeeming grace note to that situation, and maybe put a big smile on some strangers' faces," he continued. “I finally exorcized this damn chocolate demon that's been gnawing at me for decades."
