Bad Bunny shared a shocking announcement with his followers: Fans will not be able to see him on stage in 2023 because the young Puerto Rican artist will take a break.

Spotify’s most-listened-to artist confessed that he plans to take a break next year and celebrate his worldwide success in 2022. 

"I'm taking a break. 2023 is for me, for my physical health, my emotional health to breathe, and enjoy my accomplishments. We are going to celebrate. Let's go here, let's go there, let's go on the boat," Bad Bunny said in an interview with Billboard magazine.

He also added that he had "a couple of sporadic engagements, and I'll go to the studio, but there's no pressure. Remember yourself. You've worked hard," said the reguetonero, confirming his absence from the shows in the immediate future.  

After this news, everything indicates that Bad Bunny will not release music next year and we will have to wait until 2024 to see other productions from Benito.

Bad Bunny has become a phenomenon in the music industry, the Puerto Rican broke his own records in 2022 and has received multiple nominations for the most important music awards worldwide.

In concerts, he was the artist who generated the highest revenues for the year, grossing $373.5 million in ticket sales, according to Boxscore, a figure that does not include sales from his last 20 stadiums in Latin America.

For three consecutive years, he has been the most listened-to artist on digital platforms. He released four albums in the last 24 months: YHLQMDLG, El último tour del mundo, Las que no iban a salir, and Un verano sin ti. His latest album received a nomination for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards, being the first entirely in Spanish to compete in this section.
