A Queens woman died on Monday morning after a man driving a stolen dump truck pinned her against another car.
A video on social media shows the moment when the driver of the truck makes a U-turn at a dead-end street and then hits Florence Ngwu, 49. The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. on Mother’s Day at 120th Avenue in South Jamaica.
After attempting the U-turn, "he hit this white BMW. He hit about three, four times," said Sharon Brown, a witness. "The owners of the car came out. They were trying to stop him. He was still in motion."
Ngwu, the owner of the BMW and a few others walked towards the truck, trying to get his attention and confront the driver.
"She was just saying, 'Pull over, you hit a vehicle! We need information,'" said Sean Vassell, Ngwu’s neighbor. "The guy didn't want to hear it. He just wanted to go."
The driver then stepped on the gas, hitting a parked Chevrolet Equinox and pinning Ngwu against two cars. Neighbors ran to the street to try to help the woman. Ngwu’s daughter is seen screaming for help as the driver just flees.

Ngwu, a mother of four, was taken to Jamaica Hospital. She died from her injuries on Monday morning.
“We’re all just devastated,” Ngwu’s niece told The Post, saying the family was “in shock, grief — everything seems surreal.”
Police found the stolen dump truck about a mile from the scene, in front of a church. Surveillance videos obtained later show the suspect calmly leaving the car. He is still at large.
