Several people shot in NYC during Memorial Day weekend 

Several people were shot during Memorial Day Weekend in New York City in separate incidents, police reported on Monday. Two individuals have died from their gunshot wounds.

This weekend, one fatal shooting took place in Brooklyn at around 12:22 a.m., when Donovan Davy, 45, was shot in the neck and right leg at East 35th Street and Church Avenue. Davy was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

The second fatal shooting happened at around 10:40 a.m. on Sunday in Brooklyn, when another man was shot at 301 Sutter Avenue, police said. The man did not survive the shooting. No further information was released about the victim. 

Two police officers and a driver were shot in Brooklyn after the police pulled over a car for reckless driving. 

At around midnight on Sunday, a man was shot after being involved in a dispute at 171st Street and Liberty Avenue in Queens. The man was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he is recuperating. 

Again in Brooklyn, at around 2:44 a.m., a man was shot at least three times at Throop Avenue and Bartlett Street in Brooklyn. The man was taken to the hospital while the shooter fled the scene. 

A few hours later, at around 4:30 a.m., three people were hit by gunshots at 252 Dumont Avenue in Brooklyn. The victims included a 45-year-old woman who was grazed by a bullet in her right calf, a 45-year-old man who was shot in his chest and arm, and a 16-year-old boy who was grazed in his chest. 

A 52-year-old man was shot in the elbow during a fight on Madison Avenue in East Harlem at around midnight. The mas was taken to the hospital and is stable. 

As of Monday, no arrests related to any of the shootings have been made.
