The Cuban personal trainer, Ojani Noa, first husband of the “Bronx Diva” Jennifer Lopez, returned to Cuba. He shared posts about his return to the island while he walked around several places of the Cuban capital.
“How are you, my people. Greetings to all from Havana. Here on a stroll through Havana. Hotel Presidente. Wishing you a happy Saturday," he shared on his Instagram. He also attended a street soccer game on the island.
Noa, a Miami resident, is on a family visit to the island. Few know that this man, who passes as one more in the Cuban capital, was the first husband of an artist who continues to be on the rise despite debuting a long time ago.
Very few know that JLo’s first husband was Cuban. Their love story began when JLo was 26 years old. She was in a bar in Miami in 1996 and met Ojani Noa, an attractive model and actor. He was five years younger than her, but they decided to get married the following year.
“She came to bar several nights with her friends. I noticed her and realized that she was very pretty. I was afraid to fall in love, but I let myself go. It was like a dream come true. I wondered why she had chosen me, but I think she was won over by my seriousness, my attitude towards work," the Cuban told the press in 2007.
At 47 years old, Ojani Noa remembers Lopez as a tender and very simple woman. He claims that her kisses tasted like chocolate and defined them as "soft and hot." However, as time went by, the relationship became too public, causing problems in their relationship.
"Her family at first thought I was with her for money. But I had to put up with the comments, even though they bothered me. She said she didn't care what they said," the Cuban explained on one occasion. However, their relationship ended in January 1998 on bad terms.
Noa he left Cuba when he was 15 years old in 1991. After crossing the sea and undertaking many risks, he arrived in the United States. There he dedicated himself to the hotel business as a waiter. After his divorce with JLo, he went to Los Angeles, where he tried to box professionally but gave it up.
