Watch out Europe! Aquaman superstar Amber Heard is undercover and on the loose in the Spanish Motherland. The blue-eyed blonde stunned has reportedly been using a cowgirl pseudonym to avoid attention while traveling on the beautiful island of Mallorca, Spain.

The 36-year old Texan native has been staying in a beautiful villa under the name of Martha Jane Cannary otherwise known as legendary gunslinger Calamity Jane who was an Old West gunslinger, sharpshooter and story teller. Cannary rocked the frontier with her daredevil moves from 1852-1903, fought alongside Wild Bill Hickock, played a main part in Bill’s Wild West Show, and performed in the historical 1901 Pan American Exposition. She was recently portrayed in HBO’s popular western series Deadwood.

Heard has reportedly been taking refuge on the Spanish resort island, according to reports published by the Spanish newspaper, El Mundo.

The villa she is renting is reportedly worth millions and is located in the heart of the Mediterranean island, deep in the historical town of Costix, which is owned by Maria Antònia Munar, a local Spanish politician who was recently released from prison in 2020 after serving seven years of a 14-year sentence for corruption charges.

The “Drive Angry” actress was spotted by Spanish locals who have reportedly respected her privacy, allowing her to take a break from the media blitz that followed her recent defamation trial with ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

“Everyone here treats her like one of the others; in fact, she’s been in this town for months without anyone knowing,” a resident of the town, Miguel, told El Mundo.

Spanish residents said Heard “speaks Spanish with a Mexican accent” and frequently goes to a local playground with her young daughter, Oonagh, “like any other mother.”

The majestic 5,000-plus square-foot villa she is renting was put up for sale earlier this year for $2.7 million.

It has a resort hotel like infinity pool and home movie theater with stunning views of the Tramuntana mountains, according to El Mundo. The paper did not report how much or who is paying for the rental.

Depp’s lawsuit against Heard ended in June with a Virginia court ordering Heard to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages plus $350,000 in punitive damages for defaming him in a 2018 op-ed piece she penned for The Washington Post with the help of the ACLU. She has asked the court to overturn the jury’s verdict, saying judgment wasn’t supported by evidence.

In the United States, judges have the power to overturn a jury’s verdict if they feel it was not supported by sufficient evidence, a procedural move known as a Judgment Notwithstanding the Verdict (JNOV).

The Hollywood actress sold her California home in an effort to pay the judgment and move on with her life. Before her excursion to Spain, Heard vacationed in the Hamptons and then the Holy Land of Israel with her friends and little girl.
