In a new Subway promotion, the chain will give free sandwiches for life to anyone who gets a footlong tattoo.
Fans that are interested in the deal are invited to a block party in Las Vegas on Wednesday, where nine lucky customers are eligible to have two-time “Ink Master” winner DJ Tamble or someone from his team tattoo them with the Subway Series logo.
Those who get a tattoo of Subway’s 12” by 12” footlong sandwich on their sternum or back will receive free sandwiches for life.
Fans who get a 2” by 2” tattoo on their wrist, bicep, or foot will get free sandwiches for a month. And those who get a 3” by 3” tattoo on their shoulder blade, forearm, or calf will receive free Subway sandwiches for a year.
“Tattoos hold a special meaning for my customers, they come to me to celebrate the things they love the most or to commemorate a major moment in their lives,” DJ Tambe said.
“Whether that’s the first time trying the Subway Series, or simply eternal love for Subway, I’m here to make that a permanent part of their lives and something to showcase.”
At the six-hour block party, one lucky customer will be able to get the 12” by 12” tattoo. Upon getting the tattoo, the customer will receive $50,000 worth of gift cards every year.
Additionally, eight other customers could get the 3” by 3” or 2” by 2” tattoos. These fans will get a $372 gift card for one month and $4,380 for the year.
The tattoos will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans can start lining up at 8 a.m. PT. Only adults over 21 are able to participate.
Fans who don’t want to get inked can still come to the block party and get an airbrush tattoo instead while enjoying a free six-inch sub from the new Subway Series menu.
