Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s 95-year-old monarch, has tested positive for COVID-19 and has mild symptoms, Buckingham Palace announced Sunday.

Her diagnosis comes just a couple weeks after her son, Prince Charles, also tested positive for the coronavirus. He has already returned to work.

The palace said the queen is experiencing mild, cold-like symptoms but will continue with light duties. Elizabeth has received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the palace said in a statement.
