The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the aircraft, a single-engine Piper PA-46 and a single-engine Cessna 172 aircraft collided in the traffic pattern at the airport around noon.
The investigation shows that the Piper PA-46 was apparently preparing to land when it collided with the Cessna 172.
Two people were traveling in each plane when the disaster occurred after 12:00 p.m.
The incident is being investigated by the FAA.
