The National Football League announced last week that five rap and R&B legends will take the stage during the halftime show for Super Bowl 56 – bringing a total of 43 Grammys and 21 Billboard No. 1 albums to the stage at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.

Among them is rap legend and Death Row records owner Snoop Dogg, who recently called performing at the Super Bowl in his home state a “dream come true.”

But Snoop’s dream is quickly turning into a nightmare after it was revealed that a former onstage dancer is suing the 50-year-old artist for allegedly sexually assaulting her nearly a decade ago.

The unnamed accuser filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles federal court on Wednesday, claiming the alleged assault by the rapper and his associate Donald Campbell – also known as Bishop Don “Magic” Juan -- happened shortly after she attended a Snoop Dogg concert at Club Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California on May 29, 2013, Rolling Stone reported.

According to the lawsuit, the dancer accepted a ride home from Campbell, and was taken to his home against her wises. Soon after, she alleges that he “removed his penis from his pants” and “repeatedly shoved his penis into (her) mouth.”

After the first attack, the unidentified accuser claims Campbell forced her to accompany him to a recording studio where Snoop Dogg was filming his TV series, Snoop Dogg’s Double G News Network. There, there rapper allegedly followed her into the bathroom and forced her to perform oral sex on him.

“After a few minutes, defendant Snoop Dogg withdrew his penis from plaintiff’s mouth, visibly unsatisfied with plaintiff’s reluctance and disgust of being forced to engage in oral sex,” the complaint alleges. The rapper then allegedly “proceeded to masturbate and ejaculated on plaintiff’s upper chest and lower neck.” He then purportedly said, “I’ll get you something to clean up with” and left the accuser “humiliated, terrified and panicked” in the bathroom without returning.

Although a source representing Snoop Dogg told TMZ that the woman likely chose to file the lawsuit ahead of the Super Bowl because the rapper is scheduled to perform at the halftime show, she claims she didn’t immediately report the alleged assaults because she was “thinking about her job security if she displeased” the rapper.

Court documents show that she obtained a right to sue from the Department of Fair Employment and Housing on Dec. 20, 2021 and agreed to “attempt to resolve this dispute through a private mediation” that took place Feb. 8, 2022.

The filing shows that the “mediation was unsuccessful,” however, and that, “immediately after the mediation ended,” Snoop Dogg posted an image on Instagram that read “Gold digger.”

Snoop Dogg was previously sued by makeup artist Kylie Bell, who alleged he and members of his entourage sexually assaulted her in 2003. Bell later dropped her lawsuit, explaining in a statement that “the matter has been resolved amicably.”
