Robert De Niro, 79, unveils first photo of newborn baby and reveals name

Robert De Niro introduced his little girl to the world. After revealing on Tuesday that he recently welcomed his seventh baby, the 79-year-old "About My Father" actor shared the first details of his newborn with Gayle King on CBS Mornings.

The Oscar winner welcomed his daughter, Gia Virginia Chen De Niro, with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen on Thursday, April 6. The baby girl was born weighing 8 pounds and 6 ounces.

King said the couple is "over the moon" about the newest addition to the family.

De Niro revealed for the first time that he recently welcomed a seventh baby during an interview with ET Canada when the interviewer asked De Niro about his six children and he corrected them by saying he actually has "seven."

"I just had a baby," he shared, although he did not provide further details about the newest member of the family at that time.

De Niro has six children from previous relationships. The actor and his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, are parents to a 51-year-old daughter, Drena, and a 46-year-old son, Raphael.

In 1995, he welcomed twins Julian and Aaron, who are now 27, with his ex-girlfriend, model and actress Toukie Smith. De Niro also shares a 24-year-old son, Elliot, and an 11-year-old daughter, Helen, with Grace Hightower.
