Model and star of Nelly's 'Hot in Here' video, Pasha Bleasdell, dies at 38 

Director X announced on Monday that the video star "passed away from a brain tumor" over the weekend

The star of Nelly's 2002 "Hot in Herre" video and supermodel Pasha Bleasdell has passed away at 38. 

On Monday, her friend and music video director, Director X, confirmed that Bleasdell had a brain tumor and died on Saturday.

"We lost a friend yesterday," he wrote on Instagram along with a compilation of videos from her previous modeling work.

"Pasha Bleasdell passed away from a brain tumor on June 4, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.," he said. "If you made videos in the 2000s or were around to see them, you know Pasha. He added that he "put her in a million videos and spent so much time going out.” Director X recalled working with the model and said, "She was always genuine and cool. She never brought drama to the live set."

"You never know when it will be the last time you talk to someone, it will be the last time you talk," the emotional post concluded. "I hold on to my memories of you with love. Rest in Power Pasha from January 24, 1984 to June 4, 2022 ⛅️🕊."

Her fans and friends in the entertainment industry took to the comments section to offer their condolences on the news. WAGS LA star Nicole Williams wrote, "So heartbroken 💔 rest in paradise Pasha." Meanwhile, Terrence J and Pusha T simply responded with prayer emojis.

Among other notable music videos, Bleasdell appeared in Sean Paul's "Gimme the Light", 50 Cent's "P.I.M.P" and Donell Jones' "Where I Wanna Be."
