While Tom Brady rescinded his retirement statement earlier this year, his wife Gisele Bündchen has been planning her own comeback.

Marking her first magazine cover in nearly four years, the supermodel posed for the Summer 2022 issue of V magazine dressed head-to-toe in leopard print, wearing a Norma Kamali suit, Wolford tights, Amato gloves, a tiger-striped Amina Muaddi bag, and Alain Mikli sunglasses, plus dazzling Cartier jewelry.

On one of the alternate covers, she is seen wearing a black sequined jumpsuit from the Armani Privé archives with a Khia Tullaé bunny-eared hat. In a third cover, she pairs a Christian Dior Haute Couture jumpsuit with tights and a Philip Treacy hat. In yet a fourth one, she wears a Chanel one-piece swimsuit and a Heather Huey headband.

"I don't see this as a job, it's my life. It really means everything to me to be able to work," Bündchen, 41, told the magazine.

"Modeling is about becoming a blank canvas. It's really about diving deep into whatever environment and whatever character you need to create to get the perfect shot. That's the fun part, playing different roles and exploring different parts of yourself."

The former Victoria's Secret model has had plenty of practice: she has appeared on more than 2,000 magazine covers throughout her career. While she made her runway debut for Alexander McQueen in 1998, and officially retired from the catwalk in 2015, Bündchen says she has become more confident with age.

"When you're in your twenties, you try to fit in and belong. When you're in your 40s, you get more comfortable in your skin. I feel like I've only gotten stronger over time, and that's in all [aspects] of my life," she said.
Her husband, Brady might agree: he endorsed his wife's cover, calling her a "sexy mom" and posting fire emoji
