Donate school supplies and get tickets to see Pitbull!
The Van Andel Arena is exchanging tickets to see Pitbull on August 30 for school supplies!

The Van Andel Arena announced the opportunity to win tickets to see Pitbull on August 30 in exchange for donating school supplies. The fundraiser organized by the entertainment venue is an effort to ensure that West Michigan children are ready to return to school this year.
"Donate new and unopened school supplies to enter to win tickets to see Pitbull's Can't Stop Us Now tour at Van Andel Arena on August 30, 2022," the call for entries reads according to ABC4Michigan
The Cuban-born musician is a strong advocate of education and support for youth. On several occasions, he has helped fund different organizations and foundations to ensure that children have access to basic services.
Donations can be dropped off at various locations throughout August. The ASM Global Grand Rapids office located on the catwalk level at DeVos Place will receive school supplies through Monday, August 29 during business hours. The Van Andel Arena will also be taking donations between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Each person who donates will enter a drawing to win a pair of concert tickets and show merchandise. Three winners will be selected to win tickets to see Pitbull with Iggy Azalea at his next show.
The collection will benefit Grand Rapids Public Schools.
The Hispanic Center of West Michigan also held a donation drive where winners took home a four-pack of tickets to the show. Those supplies will go to the Hispanic Center's La Escuelita Preschool programs.
