A 25-year-old man died after climbing on top of an 18-wheeler and hitting an overpass in Houston, Texas.

The man, who has not been identified, climbed on top of the 18-wheeler at around 11:30 a.m. on November 10 on the Eastex Freeway and started dancing as he moved through traffic.

A driver behind the truck filmed a video of the man standing on top of the semi-truck. The man is seen ducking down to dodge the first overpass before standing up to dance again.

However, he fails to notice the second overpass and gets hit by the structure near Tuam Street. His body fell onto the street.

A driver who was four cars behind, Crystal Davis, drove past “his body at 2mph when we all had to get over in the far left lane just pass.”

“I saw the blood chunks on the ground. I saw the contorted body and broken neck and arm. It was a horrible way to begin a day,” she said.

The man was rushed to the hospital by the Houston Fire Department, where he was pronounced dead. The 25-year-old died from multiple blunt injuries.

Police said the man was recording himself at the time of the accident.

It is unclear how the man was able to climb up onto the 18-wheeler.

The driver was questioned at the scene. He told police that he did not know someone was on top of his truck, said the Houston Police Department. Police determined that he was not impaired and released him.

The incident is still under investigation.
