Leo Messi’s future seems to be more outside than inside the PSG, and a return to Barcelona does not seem to be in the plans of the Argentine footballer. Messi has experienced his worst season in years after his departure to Paris. Despite having a contract with the French club until 2023, he is already rethinking his near future. The MLS has always been a destination closely linked to Leo, and rumors about his arrival in the United States continue to gain momentum.

The latest information places the PSG striker in the American League in two seasons. According to journalist Alex Candal of "Direct TV Sports," Messi has reportedly taken a 35% stake in Inter Miami, a team presided over by David Beckham.

Them move would be scheduled for 2023, when his contract with PSG ends. A way to realize a dream retirement when he turns 36 years old in MLS, famous for being the final destination of soccer legends. His idea of continuing one more season in European soccer would be related to the preparation for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, where he will have his last chance with Argentina.

During PSG's recent visit to Qatar, Messi was very close to Beckham, who purchased a property in Miami just over a year ago. A spectacular apartment in the Sunny Isles building in Miami Beach is valued at 7.5 million dollars. Similarly, Messi acquired another spectacular property in the exclusive Porsche Design Tower.

Messi himself confirmed his dream of playing in the MLS. He acknowledged this on the interview program of journalist Jordi Évole on Spanish television. "I always had the illusion of being able to enjoy and have the experience of living in the United States," Messi said. An option that is still on the table and everything points to it becoming a reality.
