A now-deleted tweet by an Arizona county’s Democrats invited followers to an upcoming Tucson women’s march on July 4 titled “Fuck The 4th,” sparking condemnation from conservatives and the state’s own Democratic party.

The Pima County Democratic Party’s official Twitter account promoted a rally on the Fourth of July with a graphic that read, “Let’s mourn with Fuck The 4th.”

“Bring comfortable shoes, water, lawn chairs, posters and your anger,” they added.

The Republican Party of Arizona blasted the announcement, calling it an “absolutely disgraceful rallying cry.”

“The Democrats aren't even trying to hide the fact they are the party of radicals anymore,” tweeted @AZGOP on Monday, who also reshared comments about the vulgar phrase from other conservatives.

Arizona’s Democratic Party also condemned the county party, saying it did “not agree with the language used to publicize” the Independence Day rally.

“We believe there can be room for both celebration and criticism. That is at the core of American freedom,” @azdemparty wrote on Twitter on Friday.

“We are in solidarity with Arizonans who are grieving right now over the Supreme Court, the loss of freedom for many, and other political turmoil,” they added in a follow-up post.

Pima County Democrats deleted the tweet after being approached by Fox News Digital for comment.

In a follow-up tweet thread, they said they simply used a graphic provided by the event organizer, which they admitted was “in poor taste.”

But they reaffirmed support for the “Fuck The 4th” event on July 4 and told those upset by the graphic to “save [their] rage” to fight for abortion rights.

The Tucson Women’s March celebrated the notoriety they had gained on Twitter Saturday, gloating that “It seems our “Fuck the 4th” event has upset some people.”

“Make no mistake that we are not the only organization using "Fuck the 4th" terminology. We support ALL the communities that have been affected by recent decisions the Supreme Court has made. Our Native, BIPOC, LGBTQIA, and Women communities are fighting for their elemental and fundamental rights,” @TuxonWomenMarch tweeted.

“We will always and 100% be unapologetic in our support for our community and the causes that citizens hold near and dear.”
