White House trade adviser Peter Navarro is suggesting the White House has as many as 90 pending, renegotiated trade deals with other countries that could be finalized before the end of President Trump's 90-day pause on the tariffs he imposed on them.

"We've got 90 deals in 90 days possibly pending here," Navarro said Sunday on NBC News.

Last week, President Donald Trump announced a 90-day pause

The president said after he announced the pause on tariffs that over 75 countries have called to "negotiate a solution."

Navarro said that this 90-day pause was a strategic plan from the White House.

"So, this is unfolding exactly like we thought it would in a dominant scenario," he said. "What's going on here is we start with the observation. ...I don't think you would disagree with me at all: the world cheats us. They've been cheating us for decades. They cheat us with tariffs, higher tariffs."
