Terrifying new details of a murder have surfaced after a woman in Argentina admitted that she killed and dismembered her partner Daniel Tomás Silvero.

Witnesses said on Tuesday that they suspect the family may have made empanadas with Silvero's body.

A neighbor in the community of Villas de Fiorito, northeast of Buenos Aires, told investigators that the woman started selling empanadas a few days after Silvero's disappearance. She found this to be highly unusual.

"It was not something usual for them to commercialize those products," she claimed.

"I knew that she always worked at the fair, next to the man, but I don't know if she sold empanadas before," he told local media Crónica.

This led investigators to come up with the hypothesis of what had happened to the victim's remains. Part of the dismembered body was found in a garbage dump, and the head was inside a bucket in a stream. But the whole body was not found.

One of the man's daughters reported him missing on June 1 after receiving unusual messages from her father. He had told her he was looking for a new apartment to rent and would change his phone number.

Laura Marcela Campos, Silvero's wife, admitted to committing the crime. However, her testimony was not taken before the adequate authorities and was initially dismissed.

The woman confessed that she beat her husband to death, dismembered his body, and then threw his remains in Lomas de Zamora. With this information, the police were able to find other parts of the body.

Campos was later arrested along with her two butcher sons.

Tomas Silvero, a 56-year-old butcher, allegedly sexually abused his own daughter in 2010. The complaint was filed by the UFI 9 Specialized in Crimes against Sexual Integrity, reported El Clarin.

In 2019, he was again denounced for sexual violence, but this time against the daughter of his last partner, Laura Marcela Campos.
