Investigators looking into the first family and its alleged corrupt business dealings have begun probing several more members of the Biden family for their alleged involvement, according to an announcement made Monday by House Republicans.

Six other members of the Biden family who "may have benefited" from Biden family businesses have been identified announced House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer who also "vowed to continue investigating whether those businesses pose a "threat to national security."

"Thousands of pages of financial records related to the Biden family, their companies, and the business schemes of their associates were made available to members of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, confirming the importance of this investigation," Comer said.

"The Biden family enterprise is centered on Joe Biden’s political career and connections, and it has generated an exorbitant amount of money for the Biden family," Comer said.

Vowing for more government transparency, Comer said he "will continue to pursue additional bank records to follow the Bidens’ tangled web of financial transactions to determine if the Biden family has been targeted by foreign actors and if there is a national security threat."

So far. the names of the individual members of the Biden clan that are under investigation by the commission have not been released but the announcement is said to be part of a broader GOP-led effort to investigate both the administration and the first family.
