A new poll released on Monday found that most Americans see the government as the biggest problem in the nation.

According to the latest Gallup poll, 21% of respondents ranked the government and the country’s leadership “as the most important problem facing the country today.”

The dislike of the government increased from the previous poll conducted in November when only 15% of respondents said the government was the biggest issue. Instead, most Americans ranked inflation and the economy as the most pressing issue.

Respondents from all parties ranked government as the largest issue, with 24% of Republicans and 18% of Democrats claiming it was the most important problem with the nation.

The second most cited problem was inflation, with 15%, followed by the border crisis and unprecedented influx of undocumented migrants, with 11%, according to the poll. The economy fell by six points compared to previous surveys to 10%—the lowest it has been rated in a year.

The poll also found that despite rising concerns about the government in general, the approval rating of Biden and Congress remained the same compared to the previous poll, at 41% and 21% respectively, despite the classified documents found in President Biden’s home and the controversial election of the House Speaker earlier this month.

The Gallup poll surveyed 1,011 U.S. adults from January 2 to 22. It has a margin error of 4 percentage points.
