video posted on Instagram shows several migrants effortlessly hopping over the 30-foot border wall and running across a state highway while dodging cars in El Paso.

The post compiles two separate videos showing two groups of undocumented migrants climbing over the wall and then running across the Loop 375 state highway.

“Migrant crossings across the Border Highway continue in record numbers, with some crossings ending in fatalities after runners are struck by unsuspecting vehicles. Take caution when driving along the southern portion of 375” reads the caption of the video.

The first video, recorded by a driver sitting in traffic, shows the migrants entering the country through an opening in the border fence.

“Look at this. You got a brother tripping,” the driver yells as the migrant runs across the highway dodging the incoming cars. The migrant raises his fist as he passes in front of the camera.

“This is our government f—ing money, yes sir,” the driver says as another migrant attempts to cross traffic. “Another one! Another one! Another one!”

The second video shows a similar situation happening at night. A driver records the migrants hopping over the fence and running through traffic.

The videos, which have gone viral on the social media, come less than a week after Customs and Border Patrol sources confirmed that there have been more than 600,000 migrant “gotaways”—migrants that have passed the border undetected by Border Patrol agents—during the fiscal year 2022.

The figure for 2022 represents a dramatic increase from the number of gotaways reported in 2021, which was reportedly 389,155.

In November alone, more than 73,000 undocumented migrants successfully avoided Border Patrol agents, marking the highest number ever recorded at the U.S.-Mexico border.
