The New York Democrat famously said “the whole point of protesting is to make people uncomfortable.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was confronted at a Bronx town hall meeting on Wednesday over her vote to approve military aid to Ukraine by anti-war activists claiming she had sided with “the establishment.”
Two men interrupted the progressive representative as she answered questions from attendees about illegal immigration, the opioid crisis and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
"Congresswoman, none of this matters unless there's a nuclear war which you voted to send arms and weapons to Ukraine," one of the protesters shouted. "Tulsi Gabbard, she's left the Democratic Party because they're war hawks."
"You originally voted — you ran as an outsider. Yet you've been voting to start this war in Ukraine. You're voting to start a third world war with Russia and China," he continued.
My friend @Noggatone and I confronted Congresswoman @AOC on her support for Nuclear War and Ukrainian Nazis. I call her out for being a coward in the face of the party that will push us all into Nuclear war right now. Will she stand up like @TulsiGabbard and fight for peace? pic.twitter.com/aQiQvQSWIN

Another protester named Jose Vega jumped in, accusing AOC of sending money to “Ukrainian Nazis.”
“You have done nothing. Tulsi Gabbard has shown guts, where you've shown cowardice,” Vega added.
As the rest of the audience chimed in, Ocasio-Cortez asked the men to wait their turn. When pressed on why she wouldn’t respond immediately, she replied, “Because you are being rude to everyone around you.”
Journalist Glenn Greenwald pointed out the Squad member’s hypocrisy on Twitter.
“These citizens of color protesting AOC are angry and scared because she's risking their lives in a possible nuclear exchange by sending billions to CIA and Raytheon for Ukraine,” he wrote. “Her response? God, you don't need to be so ruuude about it!”

Greenwald quoted a post by Vega, who explained on his account why he and his friend confronted AOC for “her support for Nuclear war and Ukrainian Nazis.”
“Will she stand up like Tulsi Gabbard and fight for peace?” Vega asked.
User Noggatone, the other man in the incident, claimed Vega’s account was temporarily banned from Twitter over the video.
My friend @JosBtrigga was just locked out of his account after him and I confronted AOC on her support for nuclear war. As usual, Twitter shows itself to be an enemy of free speech and expression pic.twitter.com/ABXfcO8d73
