A former Christian high school teacher in Florida was charged with engaging in inappropriate behavior for the second time after she allegedly “twerked” a male student at prom.

Julie Hoover, who previously taught at Point of Grace Christian School in Perry, Florida was arrested last week. She was charged as an authority figure soliciting or engaging in lewd conduct with a student and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to law enforcement reports obtained by local news outlets.

The embattled educator was arrested once before in June and charged with one count of an authority figure soliciting or engaging in sex with a student after she allegedly sent sexually provocative messages to an 18-year-old student.

The more recent charges were filed after a student told police that Hoover twerked him—a slang term for dancing in a sexually provocative manner—at his April 8 high school prom.

The student said that Hoover also offered him alcohol despite his being underage, and even tried to put a straw from her own alcoholic drink in his mouth.

Local news reports said other students noticed the inappropriate activity and did their best to discourage Hoover, and subsequently helped corroborate the reporting student’s claims.

Reports have not yet indicated if the alleged victim is the same boy who allegedly received inappropriate sexting messages from Hoover earlier in the year.

Police learned of the first incident on June 2 when the student’s mother found the messages between Hoover and her son. She told police the messages depicted an invitation from Hoover to come to her home while her husband was at work.

Hoover is no longer a teacher at Point of Grace Christian School, according to school officials.
