A new report claims the Biden administration is urging federal law enforcement agencies to find evidence to exaggerate the threat of domestic terrorism and white supremacy, according to The Daily Wire.

Current and former FBI members have claimed that President Joe Biden’s administration is pushing the agency to devote more resources to fight against domestic terrorism, particularly those that include racial components, reported The Washington Times.

The FBI leadership’s “demand for [w]hite supremacy … vastly outstrips the supply of [w]hite supremacy,” one agent told the Times. “We have more people assigned to investigate [w]hite supremacists than we can actually find.”

“We are sort of the lapdogs as the actual agents doing these sorts of investigations, trying to find a crime to fit otherwise First Amendment-protected activities,” he added “If they have a Gadsden flag and they own guns and they are mean at school board meetings, that’s probably a domestic terrorist.”

The agency, however, has denied picking targets other than those who are determined “dangerous” or are engaged in criminal activity.

“The FBI aggressively investigates threats posed by domestic violent extremists,” an FBI spokesperson told the Times. “We do not investigate ideology, and we do not investigate particular cases based on the political views of the individuals involved. The FBI will continue to pursue threats or acts of violence, regardless of the underlying motivation or sociopolitical goal.”

During a speech on September 1, Biden emphasized the treat of “extremism” coming from MAGA republicans and Donald Trump supporters, calling them an existential threat to the republic.

FBI whistleblowers allegedly told Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) last month that the bureau was making domestic terrorism cases seem bigger than they were on purpose.

“From recent protected disclosures, we have learned that FBI officials are pressuring agents to reclassify cases as ‘domestic violent extremism’ even if the cases do not meet the criteria for such a classification. Given the narrative pushed by the Biden administration that domestic violent extremism is the ‘greatest threat’ facing our country, a revelation that the FBI may be artificially padding domestic terrorism data is scandalous,” Jordan said in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray.
