New surveillance footage shows the moment Deputy Director of Corrections Vicki White leaves the Lauderdale County Jail in Alabama with inmate Casey White on Friday.
Sheriff Rick Singleton says "it's obvious" Vicki facilitated Casey's escape, as seen in the video shared on social media. The officer is now wanted on charges of allowing and facilitating the escape of a first-degree inmate.

As police continue the search for the fugitives, investigators confirmed to NewsNation that Vicki and Casey share a non-physical "special relationship," which included allowing him privileges while incarcerated.
The relationship was confirmed in part through leads from inmates at the county detention center, Sheriff Rick Singleton told CNN.
"We have confirmed through independent sources and other media that there was, in fact, a relationship between Casey White and Vicki White outside of their normal work hours, not physical contact, but a relationship of a different nature," Singleton said.
"We were told that Casey White was given special privileges and was treated differently than other inmates while he was in the facility," he added.
According to Singleton, Vicki was supposed to take Casey for a supposed mental health evaluation on Friday, but authorities discovered that the inmate did not have an evaluation scheduled.
Friday was to be Vicki's last day on the job after nearly two decades with the department. She filed her retirement paperwork last week and planned to move to the beach, CNN reported.
"All of her co-workers are devastated. We've never had a situation like this with Vicki White. She was a model employee," Singleton said.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the capture of Casey White and Vicki White.
