Former UFC fighter Elias Theodorou died Sunday after a battle with cancer. He was just 34 years old.
A former UFC fighter, Theodorou had valiantly battled Stage 4 liver cancer but decided to share the diagnosis only with very select people close to him.
Elias was known to many as an outgoing and pleasant person outside the ring and equally known as a great fighter inside it. During his years in the UFC, Theodorou posted an 8-3 record with wins over Eryk Anders and Sam Alvey.
ET was a great fighter inside.
In his personal life, Elias was a vocal advocate for the use of medical marijuana in combat sports, believing that the herb was safer and more beneficial than prescription drugs.
The former UFC athlete last fought in December 2021 against Bryan Baker at Colorado Combat Club 10, where he won by unanimous decision.
