Shaquille O'Neal is always controversial in his statements as an analyst of basketball and life in general, but with his latest confessions he has once again been the focus of conversations. Earlier this month, the former NBA player gave an interview to a radio show in Australia and reaffirmed his support for the theory that the Earth is flat, comments he had previously made in 2017. "The earth is fucking flat to me," he said on "The Kyle and Jackie O Show."

"I drive coast to coast and I don't go up or down at a 360-degree angle. There are three ways to manipulate the mind: what you read, what you see and what you hear," the one-time NBA star with the Los Angeles Lakers has said.

O'Neal, certain of his argument has spouted more examples with which to defend his stance. "I flew 20 hours today, not once did I go this way, I went in a straight line. I didn't tip over, I didn't go upside down. I've been living in a house on a lake for 30 years, not once did the lake turn left or right," explained the famous Shaq.

The basketball hall of fame inductee is not the first NBA player to declare himself a terraplaner. One of the league's biggest stars, Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets, also expressed the same line of thought. However, for Shaquille O'Neal it is not an idea that "weighs heavily on his day-to-day life," as he stated.
