New poll shows Trump with 50-point lead while RCP reports near 40-point lead over rivals

Trump’s numbers are not as high in other polls. According to RealClearPolitics, the former president has a 39.5% lead, significantly less than the I&I/TIPP poll

Former President Donald J. Trump's is leading his Republican rivals in the party’s primary. The 45th president is now almost leading his rivals by 50% with only Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis achieving double-digit support, according to a recent survey.

The former president recently claimed 60% of support from Republicans in the latest I&I/TIPP poll while DeSantis took 11% support.

Vivek Ramaswamy claimed 9%, former Vice President Mike Pence earned 6%, and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley took 3%, while other candidates earned 1% or less.

The recent September poll suggests Trump is maintaining steady support, and even gained 3% over his GOP rivals in August.

Tech businessman Ramaswamy increased his support by 1% while the Florida governor had a 1% decrease.

The poll was conducted between Aug. 30-Sept. 1, and questioned 509 Republican voters. It has a reported margin of error of +/- 4.4%.

That poll shows him with 53.4% support to DeSantis's 13.9% and Ramaswamy's 6.8%.
