A six-year-old Michigan boy used his dad’s credit card to order $1,000 worth of food from several restaurants on Grubhub last weekend.

Keith Stonehouse said he began receiving an unexpected string of deliveries at his Chesterfield Township home on Saturday at around 9 p.m. after he let his son, Mason, use his cell phone before going to bed.

"I’m picking up more food, and it happens again and again," Keith told Fox 2. "Cars are coming in the driveway, while cars are leaving the driveway."

Mason, who was supposedly using the phone to play a game, used his dad’s Grubhub account to order food from several restaurants worth $1,000.

"This was like something out of a 'Saturday Night Live' skit," Keith Stonehouse told MLive.com after receiving orders of jumbo shrimp, salads, chicken pita sandwiches, chili cheese fries, and other foods.

"I don't really find it funny yet, but I can laugh with people a little bit. It's a lot of money and it kind of came out of nowhere," he added.

After hearing about the incident, Grubhub reached out to the Stonehouse family and offered them a $1,000 gift card. The mother, Kristin Stonehouse, also said that the food delivery company is considering using the family in an online promotional campaign.

"I knew this could happen, but you just don't think your kid is going to do something like this. He's definitely smart enough, I just didn't expect it," Keith Stonehouse said.
