Candace Owens fired back at critics of her ‘White Lives Matter’ stunt with Kanye “Ye” West on her podcast, even pulling in musician Lizzo and her recent performance with former President James Madison’s crystal flute.

On the most recent episode of the Candace Owens Podcast, the Black conservative commentator defended her and West’s fashion decisions on Monday during his YZY show at Paris Fashion Week.

The incident created an uproar in the high fashion industry as its most prestigious members clamored to condemn the pair’s antics.

Owens argued African Americans should care more about abortion, “black-on-black” crime, education standards and obesity – which is when she brought Lizzo into her commentary, reports the New York Post.

“You know what we should’ve done, we should’ve put a ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt on Lizzo,” Owens said. “Maybe we could have gotten a lot of attention about obesity and how it’s actually killing black Americans.”

The plus-size pop star set off a firestorm on right-wing Twitter last week after playing a crystal flute owned by Madison, the 4th President of the United States, at the Library of Congress while “twerking.”

But some conservatives defended Lizzo, despite her vulgar performance, noting how she demonstrated respect for the artifact and American history.

“There is a deep irony and a sad irony when you consider that wearing a t-shirt has led such a tremor throughout the world,” Owens continued on her show. “A t-shirt that says ‘White Lives Matters,’ which should be implied, right.

“White lives matter, black lives matter, Asian lives matter — it should be implied, yet people are angry and they are being vicious online because they can’t believe that we have the audacity to detract from the movement which is a lie: “Black Lives Matter.”

West, who now goes by Ye, doubled down Tuesday by posting on Instagram that “Everyone Knows That Black Lives Matter Was a Scam.”

Other Black leaders have begun pushing back at BLM activists. New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, has repeatedly criticized the BLM movement during his campaign and in office over how rising crime has disproportionately hurt the city’s Blacks.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, the legal entity that represents the national BLM movement, has come under fire for its shady financial practices. As the organization being scrutinized for its purchase of a $6 million mansion in Southern California in April, Co-founder Patrisse Cullors called the IRS form for non-profit “triggering” and U.S. transparency charity transparency laws “deeply unsafe.”
