The bodies of three U.S. soldiers who went missing in Lithuania have been found, military officials confirmed Monday.

The military says the fourth soldier remains missing, according to NBC News.

Last week, a public broadcasting service in Lithuania reported four U.S. soldiers in the country, along with their vehicle, were missing. They were in the Baltic country for training.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said at about the same time, while in Warsaw, that the soldiers were dead, but he didn't know the details

One day after Rutte's statement, acting NATO spokesperson Allison Hart said authorities were still searching for the team.

The identities of the soldiers have not been released yet.
