Job Creators Network (JCN), a conservative nonprofit advocating for small businesses, announced on Tuesday placed a billboard in New York City’s Times Square asking for Biden to reject Russian oil as the Kremlin continues its invasion of Ukraine.

The ad comes as oil prices in the U.S. closed at their highest figure since July 2014, increasing to more than $100 on Tuesday. Furthermore, many Republicans claim that Biden has made the U.S. more dependent on foreign oil, particularly from Russia.
“Biden has proven that one person can make a difference, but in this particular case, not for good and all in just one year,” Alfredo Ortiz, JNC President and CEO, said in a statement. “And it all started day one of his administration with the cancellation of the Keystone XL Pipeline, and other measures that took us from energy independence to energy dependance on foreign oil — including Russia.”
“And with each drop of oil, we buy from the Russians, we are helping to finance Putin’s war on the Ukraine, and his march to crush freedom and democracy in Europe.”
Ortiz told Fox Business that the billboard is part of a seven-figure campaign “to call out Joe Biden for his failed policies and leadership.”
