President Joe Biden lashed out at reporters on Wednesday when asked about a recent poll that found the vast majority of Democrats want another option for the 2024 presidential election.

On Monday, The New York Times published a poll that found his approval rating had fallen to a record low of 33%, and that 64% of Democrats did not want him to run for re-election in 2024.

When asked about the findings at the annual White House congressional picnic, Biden smiled and brushed them off.

“They want me to run. Read the polls. Read the polls, Jack,” he replied to ABC News reported Ben Gittleson, who shouted the question as he walked by.

The 79-year-old president then addressed the rest of the assembled reporters.

“You guys are all the same,” he griped.

“That poll showed that 92% of Democrats if I ran, would vote for me.”

The New York Times-Siena College poll did find that 92% of Democrats would stick with Biden when present with the choice between him and former President Donald Trump.

Gittleson reiterated that a majority did not want him to run. Biden responded by repeating the line: “92 percent said that if I did, they’d vote for me.”

Biden then walked away as Gittleson asked him if he would shake Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s hand when they met on Friday night.

Relations between the White House and Saudi Arabia have been frosty since Biden vowed during his presidential campaign to make bin Salman a “pariah” for his role in the 2018 assassination of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The U.S. president fist-bumped Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid after landing in Tel Aviv on Wednesday, fueling intense speculation about how Biden would interact with the Crown Prince.
