President Joe Biden read teleprompter instructions aloud during a speech he gave after signing an executive legislation on abortion and contraceptive access on Friday.

The 79-year-old leader was asking women to turn out and vote for Democratic Senate candidates in the upcoming midterms to “reclaim the rights that have been taken from them” by the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade when he made the latest gaffe.

“It is noteworthy that the percentage of women who registered to vote and cast a ballot is significantly higher than the percentage of the men who do so,” began Biden.

“End of quote. Repeat the line.”

The clip quickly went viral.

“Bruh, what a mess,” said The Columbia Bugle in their tweet.

“I mean just turn the teleprompter around and just let us read it,” @UncensoredMan83 replied.

“The world is laughing at us,” said journalist Lidia Curanaj as she shared the video.

A White House communications staffer quickly replied to The Columbia Bugle’s video tweet, saying everyone had misheard.

“No. He said, ‘let me repeat that line,’” tweeted White House Assistant Press Secretary Emilie Simons.

The Bugle responded by clipping out the moment.

“I don't blame the White House comms team since it's literally their job to pretend Joe Biden isn't senile but it's still funny when they try to claim we didn't all just hear him say ‘end of quote. repeat the line,’” tweeted Greg Price, senior digital strategist at X Strategies.

Journalist Jordan Schachtel pointed out that Biden did not repeat the line as told, either.

“So he did not catch his error. He has no clue what is going on. Just continued through the speech. His cognition is shot. His brain is completely hollowed out,” he tweeted.

The executive order signed by Biden directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra to submit a report within 30 days on any actions the agency can take to expand access to abortions and contraceptives, including the abortion pill, reports The Wall Street Journal.

It also calls for more public education and legal aid for women who cross state lines for an abortion.
