A blonde woman, often dressed in military uniforms and fatigues keeps appearing in photos alongside  Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The blonde appeared in photos alongside the embattled Russian leader in photo ops for both Christmas and New Year’s, at times with other soldiers, according to Sibir.Realii, a media outlet tied to Radio Liberty, reported on the messaging app Telegram.

“In September 2016, the president was photographed on a lake in the Novgorod region with fishermen – she was among them,” Sibir.Realii wrote.

The blonde was identified as a woman named Larisa Sergukhina at that time, but that identity has not been confirmed.

The blonde has also been seen on two other occasions, in 2017 and then again in 2019 purportedly “selling” ice cream to the Russian president at a Moscow air show.

In 2017 she also blended in with church parishioners at Novgorod monastery during an Eastern Orthodox Christmas service, where she was apparently referred to as Sergukhina, the outlet said.

Some have speculated she is an undercover part of Putin’s security detail.

In 2019, the British tabloid The Sun reported that Putin pay for his ice cream and some have speculated he uses her from time to time when he’s trying to interact with his fellow Russians without getting too close for comfort.

During a televised 2023 Russian New Year’s program, the blonde was referred to as a military medic named Anna Sidorenko fueling speculation she is being used as a multipurpose prop.
