“The list of those I have hurt is long and includes Chris, his family, many of my dear friends and loved ones, all those in attendance, and global audiences at home,” Smith said
He faces "suspension, expulsion, or other sanctions"
The discovery of the huge snake did not seem to bother the actor, who had no problem diving into the water to help capture it

The veteran actor apologized for his behavior in a statement, saying it was “shocking, painful and inexcusable,” and said he would accept any additional consequences the Academy’s Board of Governors deems appropriate
