Daddy Yankee’s vacation home for rent in Airbnb

Famous Singer Daddy Yankee is offering his fans a unique opportunity: to stay at his vacation home in Puerto Rico. All fans need to do is book it through Airbnb.

The Puerto Rican artist shared the news through his social media. In the post, he assures that those who book the house will feel like a real “King of Reggaeton.”

Starting on December 2, guests can rent the house for $85 a night on Airbnb, a symbolic price in commemoration of his 85 songs that have made the charts, reported EFE.

The Singer recorded a welcome video for guests and created a playlist with his favorite songs, said Airbnb spokeswoman Jessica Pecoraro. The reggaeton singer also prepared a guide with recommendations of places to visit, from paradise beaches to El Yunque rainforest.

“It will be a very interesting experience,” said Pecoraro. She also said that Airbnb is excited about its new host and that working with Daddy Yankee is “a dream come true.”

Pecoraro said the company is beginning to invest more in the Latino community. The goal is to make it known that Airbnb has very special places and they want to “reach out to all the Latinos who have unique homes.”

The House

The house has a lounge decorated with the singer’s albums and awards, as well as a pool table. There is a garden with a swimming pool and a volleyball court. The master bedrooms and other areas of the house will also be available to guests, said EFE.

“The design of the house is completely based on his songs, his videos, and how he, as an artist, can share a very inspiring yet creative message through his music,” explained Fernando Rodrigues, a well-known Puerto Rican interior decorator in charge of the project.

When the media visited the house, designer Stewart Rodriguez said that he studied in depth the way the singer of “Gasolina” dresses, walks, and sings.

The images shared on Airbnb show bold colors in the walks, chairs on the terrace, and tire lights decorating the living room.

The house is decorated with symbols that represent Puerto Riceo, from graffiti that stands out in various areas to a Puerto Rican flag on the pool table mat.

The remodeling of the house Daddy Yankee used for retreats and family gatherings was done by his team and Airbnb to “take it to another level,” said the decorator.
