Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have continued campaigning until the last moment to win support in various states, including Florida, where the Latino community, constitutes a significant part of the population.

So far, more than 42% of the Miami-Dade electorate has voted, more than 240,000 Republicans, almost 210,000 Democrats and more than 155,000 independents, according to local reports.

The latest official electoral data also says that another 237,504 voted by mail in the county.

Statewide data reports that more than 6.7 million have voted in the Sunshine State, including nearly 3 million Republicans, more than 2 million Democrats, and more than 1 million independents.

Data posted on the Florida Division of Elections website reveal that 4,122,048 people had cast ballots at early voting sites, while 2,609,912 had voted by mail.

Those early voting numbers include over 2 million Republicans and more than 1 million Democrats. Mail in balloting reports reveal more than 1 million Democrats and more than 923,000 Republicans have sent in their ballot.

Early voting ends on Sunday, Nov. 3 and, until then, you can vote at any of the 33 electoral precincts in Miami-Dade, from 7 in the morning to 7 at night, AméricaTeVé reported on its website.

The television station referred to the right to vote that some young Cubans exercised for the first time, who expressed their gratitude to participate in the democratic process.

There are only four days left until Election Day, and more than 48 million votes have already been cast in 47 states, including the city of Washington, according to U.S. media reports. Registered voters will only be able to cast their ballot at their assigned precinct on Nov. 5.

The nationwide vote totals were collected by CNN, Edison Research and Catalist, a company that provides data, analysis and other services to Democrats, academics and nonprofit advocacy groups, including information on who casts their ballot before November.
