Brooklyn rapper TDott Woo was killed in Brooklyn on Tuesday after signing with a record label, reported the New York Post.

Brooklyn native Tahjay Dobson, also known as TDott Woo, was shot in the head and knee in a drive-by shooting near East 98th street in Canarsie at around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, reported the police.

TDott, 22, was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

“I couldn’t even get sleep last night,” Dobson’s grandmother told the Daily News. “He was a good, good kid. ... He loved singing and dancing and all that. He had a passion for music.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Million Dollar Music Records announced that it had signed TDott.

“It’s an honor to remain your friend until your last moments,” wrote his record label. “Your memory will always stay with us no matter where we go & what we do. Sleep in peace.”

No arrests have been made as of Thursday.
