Former President Donald Trump and his three eldest children have been sued as part of a a civil fraud case filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James. The lawsuit also names several Trump associated businesses, alleging that they were involved in fraud.

The lawsuit, obtained from courthouse records by CNN, reveal that the defendants named include the former president and his three eldest children: Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump.

Other defendants include former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg, Jeffrey McConney, The Trump Organization, Inc. and other Trump associated business entities.

The lawsuit, which is more than 200-page alleges that all of Trump’s businesses have been entangled with fraud and that the former president’s primary corporation, the Trump Organization misled tax officials, lenders and insurers by inflating property values through misleading appraisals.

“These acts of fraud and misrepresentation were similar in nature, were committed by upper management at the Trump Organization as part of a common endeavor for each annual Statement, and were approved at the highest levels of the Trump Organization -- including by Mr. Trump himself,” the AG’s lawsuit reads.

The State of New York is seeking $250 million in funds and hoping to permanently bar Trump and his three eldest children from being registered as a business director there.

James is also attempting to terminate the Trump Organization's corporate certificate, which would mean it could no longer conduct business in the Empire State.

The attorney general’s civil lawsuit comes after Trump declined to answer questions in James' probe last month.
