Amber Alert: Heard seen shopping at Hamptons TJ Maxx after Johnny Depp judgment

Shortly after actress Amber Heard faced criticism for taking a private charter flight into New Jersey for Manhattan based meetings she was captured on camera by Hollywood’s TMZ discount shopping.

The Hollywood blonde stunner was seen in faded blue jeans and a casual white blouse shopping for clothes at a nearby TJ Maxx in the Hamptons where the ‘Aquaman’ star has been staying of late.

Sources have told the New York Post the 36-year-old actress is “broke” because of her legal bills—even outside of the judgment the court ordered her to pay her ex.

When her attorney Elaine Bredehoft was previously asked if she had the money to pay the judgment issued by the jury, the legal eagle said, “Oh no, absolutely not.”

The discount store Heard was shopping at was in Bridgehampton, NY where the typical residence sells for about $3.8 million.

During her shopping outing, Heard was with her sister, Whitney Henriquez, who has remained loyal throughout the trial ordeal.

The Post reported that, “it’s not clear what, if anything, Heard bought at TJ Maxx.”

The tabloid also added that, “multiple sources have told the Post that Heard was relying on her homeowner’s insurance policy to cover the cost of her attorneys.”

Some people on social media debated as to whether the shopping excursion was a public relations setup to make Heard appear thrifty in the wake of her judgment since she received criticism after flying the private jet.

Others disagreed and even seemed more concerned with defending TJ Maxx as a shopping outlet.

“Amber Heard PR team in full overtime mode. Got her shopping at TJ Maxx?!Just pay that man his $8.3M and move on,” said Twitter user Juan Hustle.”

Morgan Tremaine, the former TMZ journalist who testified during the Depp v. Heard trial wrote "You guys, TJ Maxx isn't that bad."

“Say what you want about Amber Heard, but LEAVE TJ MAXX OUT OF THIS,” journalist Cabot Phillips wrote. “I won't stand for the slander.”

Reporter Candice Frederick reaffirmed her support for the store: "Ain't nothing wrong with TJ Maxx."

Depp sued Heard for $50 million after she penned a 2018 Washington Post Op-Ed declaring that she became a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”

He won all three of his defamation claims against her and she won one of three defamation claims she made against him in a $100 million countersuit.

Heard’s net worth has been estimated at between $1.5 million and $2.5 million, according to celebrity watchdog sites. She earned $1 million for the 2018 Aquaman and another $2 million for the recent sequel.

Some reports suggest her role in the sequel have been removed, but a New York Daily News report says Heard has denied those claims.
