"I have never lacked anything in life, but I have fought and taken the necessary steps to achieve everything I have. I don't like to say it because words carry a lot of weight, but I haven't had much luck in love, although in the end it's not luck, it's me who hasn't chosen the right person or I have simply been repeating wrong patterns. My goal now is to be financially, emotionally, and romantically fulfilled."
Mujica was born in Havana, Cuba, and began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. She made her acting debut in the telenovela "Morelia" in 1995, followed by roles in "Al norte del corazón" (1997) and "Salud, dinero y amor" (1997). Her breakthrough came with the role of Leticia in the telenovela "Soñadoras" (1998), which earned her widespread recognition.

ADN: What do you consider to be the main trait of your character?
AM: Passionate... I'm quite intense.
What quality do you appreciate most in a person?
Kindness.
What do you expect from your friends?
I hope they stay in my life for a long time, that our friendship is genuine, and that they are with me during the most difficult moments.
What is your main flaw?
Indecisiveness... Sometimes, it's challenging for me to make important decisions.
What is your favorite occupation?
Being an actress, I love acting.
What is your idea of happiness?
[Smiling mischievously] Having a fulfilling life and never having to worry about money again. Money shouldn't be a life concern.
What would be your greatest misfortune?
My greatest misfortune would be dying at a young age, before my time. I love life; I want to live many years with good health and a clear mind to enjoy it.
What would you like to be if you weren't an actress or TV host?
I love psychology. I also would have liked to be a doctor.
What would you like to do when you're older?
Oh, travel like crazy all over the world with my wonderful friends, enjoy good wine, explore every corner of the planet, and not worry about anything. I want to cherish my grandchildren and my family. Sit at a beautiful, grand Christmas table.
Which country would you like to live in?
Switzerland: I was there last year, and I was fascinated.
What is your favorite color?
Red.
What is your favorite TV series?
I loved "Velvet" (I adore Spanish series). I also enjoyed "Machos Alfa" very much.
Who are your favorite actors or actresses?
Robert DeNiro, Jude Law, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Glenn Close.
Who are your favorite playwrights?
I'm a fan of Federico Lorca's entire body of work. I really like Luigi Pirandello because even though farce isn't necessarily a style that excites me, he taught me to understand comedy in a different way.
A fictional hero?
Superman!
A heroine?
I've always liked the madness and intelligence of Joan of Arc.
Your favorite musician?
If it's classical music, I love Vivaldi, and among contemporary musicians, I really like Alejandro Sanz.
Your favorite painter?
Pablo Picasso.
Your real-life hero?
My dad and my mom are my two real-life heroes. I owe them my life and I'm grateful to them.
What habit of others can you not stand?
Hypocrisy and lack of humility: I can't stand overly arrogant people.
What do you detest the most?
Arrogance.
A historical figure you can't stand?
Hitler.
A historical event you admire?
The Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, how the Mexicans fought against the French to defend their lands.
A historical event that terrifies you?
World wars and the memory of [the attacks on] the Twin Towers.
What virtue do you wish to possess?
I would like to be a more decisive person, and I would like to have the ability to unlock my third eye, develop intuition, have more empathy, and be able to read minds.
Since we all are going to die, how do you imagine your own death?
I don't imagine it.
What is your most common mood?
Being happy and positive: I wake up and try to be aware that I want to be happy.
Which flaws inspire the most indulgence in you?
White lies.
Do you have a life motto?
I am a fighter, and I would like to have stability in every sense to spend time and enjoy with my children. That's my motto in life: to live life to the fullest, but with my feet on the ground.
