Two gigantic Christmas ornaments that towered over cars sent traffic fleeing as they were blown down a London street by a windy storm.

A video posted to TikTok showed the first shiny orb, almost two stories tall, bounce off a building’s canopy as if it were a pinball bumper then hit a streetlight. The second impact caused its skin to burst off in a shower of silver, revealing what appeared to be a white plastic sphere underneath that continued down the road.

The camera turns to see a second giant orb turn the street corner like a monster movie. Glittery skin already half-torn, it bounded down the street behind its partner.

Cars can be seen trying their best in the bizarre scenario, swerving to evade the massive pair of balls.

The incident occurred early Monday as the Met Office issued warning of strong winds and heavy rains, reports The Telegraph.

The Telegraph added that part of a dilapidated pier in Brighton collapsed the night before after being battered by Storm Claudio.

The Met Office’s yellow warning follows forecasts of expected gusts of 55-65mph, particularly in coast areas and over higher ground. Heavy rain is also expected this week.

The area in the video is believed to be Tottenham Court Road, a major road through Central London. It was not clear where the ball escaped from.
