The coach of the Paris Saint-Germain women's team, Didier Ollé-Nicolle, has been removed from his post after allegations of sexual assault on a player and other "inappropriate" behavior and words, the club said in a statement.

"If these facts and words are confirmed, they would be incompatible with the sporting and human values of PSG," said the club, which says it takes the situation "very seriously" and calls for the allegations to be clarified.

The revelations came earlier this week when a series of messages accusing the coach were posted on Twitter by a young player, a minor, who told her parents that the coach had touched her bottom after a match. Although they declined to file an official complaint, the police opened proceedings and conducted an internal investigation, in which several team officials, including Ollé-Nicolle, were questioned.

The accusation brought to light other complaints from players against certain behaviors of the coach, who apologized to the group. But the Parisian club, which already harbored doubts about his continuity, decided to go further and removed him from his duties.

This case comes in addition to others that have taken place at PSG Women, such as the assault last November of Kheira Hamraoui, which has not yet been clarified, or the fight she had with several teammates before the Champions League semi-final against Olympique Lyon on April 24.
