An 18-year-old South Park clip about a transgender woman demanding an abortion despite not being able to get pregnant is going viral on social media for its “brutally honest take” on transgender rights and abortion.

The episode titled “Mr. Garrison’s Fancy New Vagina,” which first aired on March 9, 2005, shows fourth-grade teacher Herbert/Janet Garrison going to get an abortion at a Planned Parenthood office because they have missed their period.

“Yeah, I’ve got one growing inside me,” Garrison tells the doctor at the clinic when asking for the abortion. “Now, are you going to scramble its brains or just vacuum it out?”

The doctor proceeds to tell Garrison that they are “physically unable to have an abortion because you can’t get pregnant.”

“Don’t you tell me what I can and can’t do with my body! A woman has a right to choose,” Garrison responds.

The doctor then explains to Garrison that despite having a sex change, they can’t have periods because they don’t have ovaries or a womb, and therefore can’t get pregnant or have an abortion.

“But I paid $5,000 to be a woman. This would mean I’m not really a woman. I’m just a guy with a mutilated penis,” Garrison says as he regrets not being able to enjoy the full experience of womanhood.

The clip from the episode depicting Garrison’s visit to Planned Parenthood is going viral on social media, with many commenting on the fact that the episode predicted certain aspects of transgender ideology and issues that are being discussed today.

“South Park nails it,” tweeted Donald Trump Jr.

“In one minute and 25 seconds, @SouthPark said all the things we aren’t allowed to say about trans ‘women’ and abortions,” posted Chicks on the Right writer Natalie Argyle.

“Could this South Park episode that parodies abortion and trans ideology (from 2005) still be made today?” asked podcast host Brian Edwards.
