Paris Hilton turned down President Biden for Britney Spears' wedding

Socialite and professional DJ Paris Hilton turned down a request from the President of the United States to attend the wedding of Britney Spears, according to reports.

Hilton said on an impromptu episode of her “This is Paris” podcast that she was asked to attend and provide music for a dinner at Biden’s Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, California that same weekend.

“I was actually asked to DJ for the president and all of the other presidents from around the world for the dinner, but this was more important to me,” she said on the episode titled “This is… We Went to a Wedding Last Night.”

Hilton and Spears have been friends since the early 2000s. The hotel heiress even wrote an op-ed in support of Spears around the end of her conservatorship.

The 41-year-old media personality said she was trying to keep her attendance at Spears’ wedding to her new beau, model and actor Sam Ashgari.

“Literally, I did not tell anyone, not even the people I asked [for] dresses that were sent, my whole team, my glam, my driver, everyone,” she told her audience.

The star-studded wedding was attended by A-list celebrities like Madonna, Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore.

Hilton did not reveal any more details about the evening than she shared on social media, but wished the couple the best.

“I’m not gonna get into any details because it was the princess bride’s night and that’s her story to tell, but all I can say is that I am just so incredibly happy for her,” she said.

“[Spears] looked stunning. It made me so happy to see that she found her fairytale and they are a beautiful couple and just glowing. It really warmed my heart to see her so happy and free.”

Hilton has held DJ residencies in Atlantic City and Ibiza, Spain.
